is a native of the greater Columbus area and graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School.
He is the founder Works of Freedom Ohio LLC, the Columbus Chicken and Beer Festival, co-founder and singer/songwriter for the national band Mistar Anderson, and co-founder of the local music initiative "The Break" (free style hip-hop open-mic night in Columbus, Ohio). He is also a member and/or advocate of various non-profit organizations dedicated to community music development.
Use Your Ears was developed by Works of Freedom, LLC.
After creating Works of Freedom, Eric Rollin saw the positive impact that the music programs were having on the students, and sought to find a way to bring those benefits to others in need.
Use Your Ears opened in February 2021 and began supporting other
non-profit organizations and groups that provide services to our youth in need.
By expanding upon the fundamental training components that have been developed at Works of Freedom, we are able to provide comprehensive programming to benefit the community at large.
