At Use Your Ears, we empower Ohio's youth through music, songwriting, and mentorship. Together, we can help young people discover confidence and creativity within themselves to live happier and fulfilling lives.

HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT

SONGWRITING FOR YOUTH/ADULTS

Our songwriting 101, 102, and 103 workshops take students from songwriting basics to royalties and licensing. In-person classes happen at our studio near downtown Columbus, Ohio as well as remotely for students that aren't local to Columbus.

for SCHOOLS

Our group workshop framework takes 2-20 students through songwriting as a form of personal expression and basic song structure. This workshop is great for school programs looking to help students find a creative outlet from grades 4-12.

WORKSHOPS AS TEAM BUILDING FOR COMPANIES

Songwriting isn't just good for the soul, it's great for building relationships with coworkers. The Use Your Ears team building workshops provide a unique and creative opportunity for team members to work together and build stronger relationships in the workplace.

MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS

ERIC ROLLIN

Columbus native and professional singer/songwriter, educator, mentor and audio engineer, Eric Rollin saw the positive impact that music programs were having on students, and sought to find a way to bring those benefits to others in need.
